![]() I’d probably still recommend playing it, but for me it’s a one off and I wish I would have picked up up on sale. How hard would it have been to instance a mage hunt and prevent other mages from spawning during? I feel like there are so many solutions to all the problems in this game, but the devs were just like “fuck it” and didn’t attempt to fix any of the glaring flaws. ![]() Most of the hunts aren’t that bad but the ones that are bad are REALLY bad. I had 2 mages in a fog walled arena before. When you finally do get the mage to its final location the fog wall doesn’t necessarily keep enemies out, and sometimes traps them in. ![]() There was a time when I was trying to get a mage to its final location and there were two other mages in that area all spawning adds. It just spams the map with enemies, and other mages. The bosses and enemies are great, the weapons are cool, and combat is fun. There is a lot to like about the game though, which makes it even more frustrating. I put a lot of hours into sanctuary speedrunning it, and after doing all bosses in this game I probably won’t ever replay it.
